Highlights

The Brisbane Symphonic Band's vision sees its members "Working together to perform quality music for the benefit and enjoyment of our members and the community". In accordance with this vision, the Brisbane Symphonic Band:

- Hosted children's concerts in 2009 and 2010, with benefits raised going directly to World Vision's Kochore Safe Motherhood Project;

- Hosted a charity concert in 2009 where all proceeds (in excess of $1000) were donated to Autism Queensland; and

- Continues to participate in the Brisbane City Council's Bands in the Park program, providing free musical entertainment in parks around Brisbane.
