50TH ANNIVERSARY

2026 marks 50 years of Brisbane Symphonic Band making music here in Brisbane. Founded in 1976 and starting as a small 8 piece ensemble in Kedron, the band has grown and shared its music both around Brisbane and on various tours, local and international.

To celebrate our golden anniversary, BSB are planning a major concert, memorabilia and history project to reminisce and celebrate our music, our members and our community.

Anthology of 50 years

As a part of our 50th celebrations, we are collating an anthology of the BSB story.

We would love to include your favourite memories, crazy anecdotes, recollections of friendships and tales of the bands big and little moments.

To contribute, please share your stories here. You can resubmit the form as many times as you like as memories resurface.
